It’s often said that sound and music make up 50% of a movie’s effectiveness. When you drop out sound, and especially music, you lose most, if not all, of the emotional impact. In this episode we’re looking at some of our favorite movie soundtracks and why we love them. Some of these movies contain original songs while others, like Tarantino’s films, are perfectly curated for the movie and the scenes in which they appear. So listen to us discuss movie soundtracks like The Blues Brothers, Top Gun, Mannequin, Beverly Hills Cop, The Bodyguard, Aladdin, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and so many more. And if you’re a big fan of off-key singing, not unlike the sounds of dying alley cats, then this is the episode for you!
